Mark Crilley is the author of nearly twenty books, including The Realism Challenge, Mastering Manga, and Mastering Manga 2, as well as several series of books and graphic novels, including Akiko, Miki Falls, Billy Clikk, and Brody’s Ghost. Since being selected for Entertainment Weekly’s “It List” in 1998, Crilley has developed a massive Internet following for his drawing demonstration videos, which have received well over two hundred million views on YouTube. Ich bin begeistert von diesem Buch. Die Geschichte des Comics ist wirklich nett gemacht und lernt nebenbei noch Grundkenntnisse für das Zeichnen. Außerdem bieten die Bilder des Comics viele Gesichtsausdrücke und Bewegungen, die vielleicht für Manga Zeichner interessant sein können. (Ich bin allerdings keine Manga Zeichnerin, sondern interessiere mich allgemein für das Zeichnen).Das Buch habe ich für meinen Sohn gekauft, der die 6. Klasse besucht. Ich würde es ab 5. Klasse empfehlen. Auch mit geringen Englischkenntnissen kommt man gut zurrecht. Es gibt nicht so viel Text und mit Hilfe der vielen Bilder versteht man den Inhalt sehr gut.Meinem Sohn und mir hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen. Auch wenn ich keine Anfängerin im Zeichnen bin und für mich nichts Neues dabei war, bekommt das Buch 5 Sterne von mir. Die Idee Zeichentipps in einem Comic zu verpacken finde ich großartig und mal etwas Neues.
Das Buch habe ich in etwas mehr als einer Stunde durchgelesen. Die Geschichte ist sehr schön geschrieben. Man kann sich aus den Tips die der kleine David bekommt das eine oder andere abschauen. Es sollte nicht die Erwartung sein, dass man sofort besser zeichnen kann nachdem man das Buch durchgelesen hat. Den um besser zu werden muss man erst sehr viel und sehr regelmäßig üben.
A really really lovely and adorable graphic novel about a boy who's dream is to learn how to draw. It really is helpful and shows you basically tipps what to think of when you draw and waht you have to notice to make an accurate drawing.The characters are really cool, funny and good (well, maybe a little cliché too, but that must not be bad). Story is sweet as well, a really good book by my senpai Mark Crilley. ;)Check out his channel, it's so helpful and he's an awesome genius artist and a very nice person.
Ich finde jede Seite sehr wertvoll und sensible. Ich hab das Buch erstmal als Ganzes gelesen, und hab mir vorgenommen, denn gezeigten Lernschritte zu testen. Aber das Mentoring Konzept kann ich nicht von selbst herbeiführen. Wer keinen Mentor hat, kann ihn entweder finden, oder sehr vermissen.
Gut, die Geschichte ist nichts umwerfendes, aber irgendwie sind die Charaktere witzig. Außerdem ist es toll gezeichnet, Und man lernt doch einiges über das Zeichnen. Zumindest als fortgeschrittener Anfänger.
